In the lesson today we read through a booklet called 'Media in the Online Age.' I found this very helpful in terms of understanding how the Media is put into play in the real world. It enhanced my knowledge on how much of an impact the new and updated media applications has on people today.
An example I found particularly interesting was Youtube. This is a huge success amongst the younger generation however, it was surprising to be remained of the fact that Youtube has only been around since 2005 and since then, has made a huge impact on many people's lives.
