I reminded myself what the voice-over of the Channel 4 introduction involved. The example I decided to watch was 'The Great British Bake Off' and I wrote down what the voice-over said on a piece of paper.
I then asked my friend Penny if she would be happy to be the voice for my documentary. I wanted a voice that was different from my main voice-over, and this would be the case in an already existing documentary on Channel 4.
I think Penny has a confident presenter like voice. We did some test clips, so the volume and pitch of her voice was how I planned it to be.
I like how it has tuned out as the final recording, and I have included this in my documentary.
Below I have inserted a short clip of how the introduction voice-over sounds, I am happy with how it has turned out and I think it gives a professional feel to the documentary as soon as people begin watching it.
